What is a restaurant POS system?
A POS (point of sale) system is where a restaurant takes orders and payments. A modern restaurant POS like DotMax also sends orders to the kitchen, keeps stock, manages tables and staff, and gives the owner reports — all in one system.
Does DotMax work in my country?
Yes. DotMax runs in the browser, so it works anywhere: you set your own currency, time zone, tax label and rate and service charge, and connect your own SMS provider for customer messages.
What equipment do I need?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. A receipt printer and a screen in the kitchen are optional — DotMax works with what you already have.
What does the AI agent do?
The DotMax AI agent is a 3D assistant: on your guests’ QR menu it suggests dishes and answers questions about your food, and for your team it answers questions about sales, stock and the day by voice or text.
